ABC News Puts Hillary on Top

ABC News has begun their invisible primary for the '08 presidential nominations. There are no surprises to speak of really as they have Sen. Clinton on top for the Democrats and John McCain on top for the Republicans. I'll be talking about it more tomorrow, but in the meantime you can check out the article here. The rankings for the Dems are:

  1. Hillary Clinton
  2. John Edwards
  3. Mark Warner
  4. John Kerry
  5. Tom Vilsak
  6. Evan Bayh
  7. Bill Richardson
  8. Joseph Biden
  9. Wesley Clark
  10. Tom Daschle
  11. Russ Feingold

Head Scratch

Some times I just scratch my head at the things the media chooses to jump on with regard to Hillary. Last week Hillary criticized an extreme anti-immigration bill working its way through Congress by invoking Jesus. Of course, the media has completely internalized the Republican talking point that Democrats are secular so any mention of God, Jesus, religion or the bible by a Democrat is immediately questioned. So, the media pretty much does the bidding of the Republican party.

Anyway, ThinkProgress puts them back in their place. The media and GOP should be very, very careful. Hillary Clinton is nothing if not smart. You better believe that when she says something there is a logic and reason behind.

On Condoleeza Rice

Okay, something has been bothering me for a while now. People (mainly Dick Morris) keep talking about Condoleeza Rice as the only person who can beat Hillary Clinton for the presidency. The folks in the media talk about it is normal as apple pie.

Well, guess what? Condoleeza Rice is a BLACK WOMAN!!!!!!! Not only will this Black man not vote for her (guess I'm a Democrat before I'm Black....weird), but all them white folks in the South aren't going to vote for her either. Maybe if I heard one talking head acknowledge this I could take the media seriously.

NY GOP Jumps the Shark

I would feel bad for the New York GOP if they weren't such complete asses. Their latest rising star chosen to take down Hillary Clinton, KT McFarland, is more of a nightmare than Jeanne Pirro. First, we learned that McFarland was registered to vote in two different New York addresses, which happens to be a felony. Then we learn that she failed to vote in several elections over the years including the presidential re-election of Ronald Reagen, the man she claims as a political idol and for whom she worked at the time. Then there was the embellishment of her resume. All of these are damnable offenses on their own.

Now, we learn that KT is literally bonkers:
"Hillary Clinton is worried about me, and is so worried, in fact, she had helicopters flying over my house in Southampton today taking pictures," McFarland said.
Whoa! Are there really no sane Republicans in New York who will not crumble before our eyes?

McFarland now says it was all a joke. Ahhh, too little too late. Another one bites the dust. Hillary Clinton is not playing a game here. She will destroy this poor woman if she gets the nomination. This scrutiny from the New York press, the toughest in the nation, will be nothing compared to the wrath of HRC.
